2) Sarawak Cultural Village- No one would ever want to come to this place.

3) Bako National Park -No interesting wildlife in Kuching and you can find it anywhere

4) Fishing in Uncle Fun House- who would want to waste time with this view.

5) Qing San Yan Temple + Seafood -Really nothing to see just topview.Yikes

6) Swee Kang Ice Kacang/ Gula Apong Ice - it is so icy it hurts when you eat in the hot afternoon

7) TopSpot Seafood -Everyone choose No.25 stall blindly

8) Chilly Place to Drink -The Junk boring lonely night *yawn* at the live band, you will be the only one here.

9) Mira Cake House (crossing river) - The cake design so mess up, not to mention the taste

Zion National Park

My USA road trip embarked right after EDC Vegas 2016. We rent a SUV to cater the whole trip. Never underestimate what you are capable of, we hike a number of well known mountain trails. Here's the first stop of our checklist. Zion National Park. Day 1, we simple stock up important material for hiking use in Safeway, pull over in motel, get proper meal and do some laundry.

Important stuff for hiking such as H2O (plenty of it), energy bar, can food, electrolyte drinks, bread and jam. Get some plastic spoon and fork that you might need it later. Else you gonna dig up the food with mess. Get a comfortable hiking shoes, how it looks doesn't matter, most importantly giving you blister-free hiking experience. Talking about this I am wearing a non-hiking shoes. So I am blessed with blister from the start.

A long the way to Zion National Park, you may enjoy the scenic view like it is so unreal. Before you start your journey, you might want to pre load the offline map to Zion National Park. These may give you a hassle freakout free journey. I believe no one want to maroon in no where and got eaten up by some kind of huge animal.

Thanks to dear Arnut who did a lot of research for the whole road trip. We chose the Angel Landing Trail. Please bear in mind that a lot of accident happened before, as it is not an easy trail. No not attempt with your flip flop, a pair of good hiking shoes is needed.

What I love about Zion National Park, is the facilities they have, such as shuttle bus to every trail head, and restroom and ice cool spring water pipe is available in each stop. Not all national park is blessed with all these facilities. Another tip to hike Zion is start your journey early as possible to avoid excess heat in the noon when you are doing your returning trip. We did this in the end of June 2016, weather might varies throughout the years. Apply plenty of sunscreen, as we are heading somewhere nearer toward the sun. Get a knee supporter and hiking stick to support yourself.

Some info about Angel Landing Trail:
Elevation: 5,790
Time Required: 3-6 hours
Difficulty: Fairly Strenuous
(Not recommended for those who are afraid of height and have vertigo)

As we finish the trail earlier than expected, we proceed to Weeping Rock Trail (picture below), not a spacious place, yet the view is still rewarding. Take extra care of your steps, because the place is usually wet dripping with water. Upon finishing the trail you can access cool water at the stop and rest for food with shades. Among all my hikes, I still prefer Zion National Park. Definitely recommended this place.

Finishing the trail, we head down to try our luck on Zion National Park campsite which is usually full throughout the year. You need to do early online book, or wake up really early to queue up to get the campsite slot. Picture below is not the campsite of Zion, you need to drive further out.

The night can be chilly below 15 Celsius. For an Asian like me who grown up in everywhere is above 25 degree Celsius. Tip is to get a good insulated sleeping bag.

Gili Trawangan Escape Day 1

Dear all, thanks again for stay tune with my Lombok aka Gili Trawangan post. Most of you may heard Gili Island before and there consist of 3 islands namely Gili Trawangan (tourist spot), Gili Meno and Gili Air (if you prefer less crowd for chilling). You can go to Gili Trawangan from Bali or Lombok. Either way through speed boat (IDR350K per way) or public boat (free according to schedule and they only move when the boat is full).

This is my first time going to Lombok and I booked the flight earlier 2015 for 2016. Pretty insane. I am very lucky to have Jane with me, if you follow my blog, I met her in UMF Korea 2015. We are still good friend till now and amazingly we like to travel. First stop in Lombok we stayed overnight in IDOOP Hotel, which is pretty budget and OK.

Advise for you is to buy SIMPATI near the city. Cause we bought it in rural area, they owner do not know how to activate the simcard and tell us, here no line you need to go city to get it connected. I am not sure if you buy the idea, if here no line, why you sell simcard. Luckily our driver get us sorted after settle down in our hotel. What's wrong is the owner register his own shop number instead he is suppose to register the official number. Mannnnnn. Well getting 4G data is pretty important for me, because I want to go around the island by foot.

If you use speed boat it takes 20 minutes to go from Lombok to Gili Tranwangan. If public boat it takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. Reaching there, you can actually walk or rent a bicycle at IDR 75K which is pretty reasonable. Never ever expect any car exist in this place. They use cidomo (you can also called it horse cart) as the main transportation. Pssp* beware of horse poo, it's available on the road. Cidomo can cost you IDR 50K, if it cost more than that, please don't ride on it. You are CHEATED.

Here we stayed in M'dison Gili (Fiona Room) personally do not really recommended this place because of the creaky sound when you walk or sleep on the bed. The bathroom is open air, it's wonderful to poo at night and look at the million star. The other hand, when the sunrise, you gonna get sunburn for poo-ing too long. That's the big bang. You are going to dance on the hot stony floor if you wanna shower. Something wrong with the shower too, getting too hot that is gonna burn you. What's nice, probably the breakfast, I ordered pancake. Big portion and well done. Others, NAYYY.

My day 1 itinerary is joining the Jiggy Boat Party. It's a must try and do in Gili Trawangan. My first boat party, most importantly go with your lovely friend. Gili, someone call it a party island as well. My advice is to arrange a Jiggy Boat Party with full moon party. It's awesome to party here.

Hopping into a random restaurant, trying out the western food while waiting for the party to start. Hell yeah. We are getting excited because this is our first time in unknown island trying out something new. NO REGRET. Joining the party, you are entitled with a drink. It cause about RM95 per head (girls' price). Guy is double, don't ask me why. Hehe.

(This is a sweet couple I met on the boat, NOT me. Hehe)

Here I met people from Amsterdam, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and etc. They are easy going person. We dance and we party hard. My experience in the boat is splendid. In the middle of the dance I empty my cup and start collecting melted ice water from the big container and pouring at random people. Similar like ice bucket challenge semi songkran. WHYY NOTT right, two experience in one. Enjoy the sunset together, raise our hand and singing at the edge of the boat. This always put my smile on again and again whenever I think about it. Oh I did boat jumping as well.

Given a chance I would definitely coming back again with different buddy and meeting new people here.
